Sick of being sick
That's right. I'm sick of being sick. I stayed home from school on Friday, because after I went to seminary and thought that it was the longest 50 minutes of my life, I knew I would never make it through school. I came home and slept for a few hours, took some medicine, and felt a little better. I thought I'd go back to school, but Mom wisely pointed out that I probably only felt well because of the medicine, and that it probably wouldn't last the rest of the school day. Instead we went shopping for a few quick things. When we came home I was exhausted and slept for a few more hours. My throat has been really sore, my back and neck hurt, and I have a runny/stuffy nose. Sometimes I feel light-headed when I stand up. Still, today, I don't feel the best. I keep getting hot/cold (prolly a slight fever), and my throat is killin' me! I hope it's not strep throat; if it is, I didn't know other symptoms came with it. I'll prolly go to the doctor tomorrow if I still don't feel well.

Home from Spring Break
First of all, I'd like to refer everyone to my very first post. (Here's where I'd add a link to it, but I don't know how.) Notice in my first post that I mentioned the possibility of me not being so great at keeping up with this blog thing. So, um, yeah. There you have my offcial "Don't give me whining for not posting as often as I should" disclaimer / reminder. :-D :-P
It was cold when I got back to Texas on Easter Sunday. I should've know it was too good to be true. The past few days were back up in the 80's again. Rarrh. I found out the other day when I got the mail that I can't even attend my own Texas Scholar Banquet, since it's the same day as when I'll be flying home late that night from Spencer's wedding. Oh, well.
I had a RebeLee Court meeting at lunch yesterday. The meeting only served to deepen my feelings and reassure me that this whole RebeLee Court thing is a bunch of over-rated pooh. I am glad that we don't have to wear gloves this year, though. Apparently the price of gloves went up, so we no longer have to wear them. Woot! I need to write a scholarship essay for the Ella Beth Jefffreys Schoalrship. Rebecca and Spencer both got it, so maybe I'll carry on the tradition if I ever write the dumb essay. Don't you all miss applying for scholarships?
Here's where I'd add pictures from Emily and Jon's wedding:

Busy, Busy!
I kind of just realized that I haven't updated this in a really long time, so I guess now I will.
I've been realizing this week that I have a lot of upcoming events I need to prepare for. For FHE, Mom and I discussed what needs to be done. I've got RebeLee court, possibly prom, two weddings to attend, a speech to write for graduation, state solo and ensemble, Band and Orchestra UIL, practices for most of these things, personal progress, a senior rectial to practice and plan for, senior book, Calculus AP test, scholarship things, plus regular homework to keep up with. Whew! I hope I can get all this stuff done in time!
On the other hand, I also accomplished some stuff this week that I am glad to have done. I finished my research paper for English, I set a date for my senior recital, and I finished a whole bunch of calculus I had put off doing. Yay! I like to get things done.
